Fire Alarms In Main

Wondering why those alarms have been set off?

From Associate Security Director Kim Squillace:
We had a total of six fire alarms for Main / College Center from Jan (students return) - to date. The break down is four for food related, one for mechanical and one odor reported.

Well, there you have it!

Fourth Time's the Charm

At 5:40 p.m. tonight, trucks from the Arlington Fire Department were again summoned to Main building, for what is the FOURTH TIME in THREE DAYS.

This time, they took 15 minutes to declare the building fire-free, and they brought the big gun: a ladder truck.

Why is the alarm being set off so much??

FIRE?! Oh... Wait... Never mind....

Continuing the theme of things that are HOT, Main building's fire alarms went off at approximately 11:30 a.m. today, rousing some lucky students from their sleep.

One such student was spotted on the north side of Main, with nothing on their feet. Upon inquiry by the staff that were also forced out of the building as to why this was, the student simply replied, "I was sleeping."

This is the third time in two days that the fire alarms have gone off in Main.
