Ciao ciao ciao ciao a tutti!
Well, today will be short and (hopefully) sweet. I am finished with this year. I'm sad to see it go but I had my moments and now it's time for new ones, not that I'll ever forget the old. I have taken my finals, finished my essays, stored my things (I didn't realize how much stuff I had here...sad), and for the most part filled my suitcases. Friday, I am on a plane back home. I have packed up my life here and it is ready to relocate. Have a wonderful summer all of you and I'll see you next year!
P.S.- My room looks disgustingly bare and unfriendly. Oh well...
FUN(NY)SEX(Y)FACTS:
---On average, it takes two tablespoons of blood to get a man's penis erect. (Just a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine GO DOWN....Don't ask me where that came from, I don't know)
---The G-spot, a sensitive area located inside the vagina on the upper wall, an inch or two behind the back of the pubic bone, is named for Dr. Ernest Grafenberg. (Hahaha...wow, wouldn't I like to have something that gives so much pleasure to women /9or anyone) named after me! I think I should go invent some type of amazing vibrator or discover a body part....oooh my summer plans are piling up)
---The vagina and the eye are self-cleaning organs.
---The prophet Hosea was commanded to marry a prostitute because Israel, herself, hath committed great whoredom. (hahaha...wow. And we thought we had problems)
---The word "ejaculation" comes from the Latin word meaning "throwing out." (So when was the last time you ejaculated via intercourse or masturbation? I just had a conversation about this earlier.)
---A dragonfly's penis has a shovel on the end that scoops out a rival male's semen (I've actually seen this happen. Kinda trippy)
---The average gorilla weighing 200 pounds has a penis that is two inches long. (I love gorillas!)
---According to psychologists, the shoe and the foot are the most common sources of sexual fetishism in Western society. (Why??? I guess it could be worse....)
---Aphallatosis is a mental disorder resulting from a lack of sex life. (Well, we have a lot of people suffering from that on this campus....)

MAY DAY!
**WARNING: THIS POST IS LONGER THAN 300 WORDS.**
Ciao ciao ciao a tutti!
I hope that you all went to see "A Winter's Tale" this weekend. One of my best friends was in it and they were all amazing! They reminded me of how much I love Shakespeare and outdoor theatre.
Tonight there is an AirCappella/Devils concert in Rocky 200 at 8 PM and it will be fabulous!
So because it is May, there are these daily celebrations called May Days of 2008 series. All 31 days of May have been designated their own theme. This was initially intended to be a small event series for random facebook people and it's not official, but they figured they'd open it to the world. So, anybody may celebrate. You may do the whole series or choose specific days to participate in. HAVE FUN!

FUN(NY)SEX(Y)FACTS:
---According to the book Hidden Bedroom Partners: Needs and Motives That Destroy Sexual Pleasure, what your partner does after sex may have lots of hidden meanings. Immediately rolling over and going to sleep may indicate anger. Going to the bathroom may reflect feelings of guilt. (And if you cry during???)
---The typical person spends about 600 hours having sex between the ages of 20 and 70. (Jezzey Chrezzy!)
---Researchers say that condoms exposed to smog and ozone are less effective. (So scientific!)
---According to certain rabbinical interpretations, Adam had sex with animals. (I do not mean to offend anyone!)
---Erect giraffe penises are four feet long. (Ouch.....)

Animal Horns, Vaginas, and Peace
Ciao ciao ciao ciao a tutti!
So I'm really excited to say that today is.......
International Be Sexually Inappropriate With Your Friends Day
Yay! Go get your grab on! (But make sure you let them know that it's a special occasion....)
While you may already be sexually inappropriate with your friends on a daily basis, today you actually have an excuse. Plus it's fun seeing awkward glances from people, right???
And here are your....
FUN(NY)SEX(Y)FACTS:
---"Reltney" is archaic slang for "penis" and "Hockey" is archaic slang for "semen." So....what's vagina? and eggs?
---John Harvey Kellogg (who invented Kellogg's Corn Flakes) invented corn flakes as a meatless breakfast food, designed to reduce the sexual drive and to reduce masturbation. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? Dude, you masturbate in spite of him. Masturbating is not bad for you. It's actually probably the safest thing you could do, having sex with yourself.
---A man will ejaculate approximately 18 quarts of semen, containing half a trillion sperm, in his lifetime. DAAaaaaaAAAAYYYMMMMM! Woohoo sex ed!
---In ancient Greece and Rome dildos were carved out of everything they could get their hands on from wood, glass, leather, gold, silver and even animal horns. OUCH! I'm sorry but I wouldn't want to put an animal horn in my vagina. And I don't think anyone else would either... Comments?
Pace ed amore,

P.S.-- Has anybody else noticed all the little kids running around and going into the dorms? Apparently it's Peace Day? Shouldn't everyday be Peace Day?

Meeting of the Minds
Ciao ciao ciao ciao a tutti!
We are in a Blog9 meeting......at this very moment. Trying to think of ideas for next year.
God damn sucksuckyfuckfucky!
Well, instead, let's talk about sex! That's never god damn sucksuckyfuckfucky, except for in a good suckfuck. Actually, that's not true. There is some really suckyfucky. Ok, I think I'm done now....
FUN(NY)SEX(Y)FACTS:
---The first condoms in the US were made from vulcanized rubber in the 1870s. They were expensive and annoyingly thick and meant to be reused. ok so...1) OUCH 2) EWW! 3) Well, I guess they're kind of like diaphragms...
---In Texas it is illegal to sell a vibrator as anything other than a ‘novelty’. ??? Would they sell vibrators as something weird??? Like.... in replacement of wooden spoons for cooking??? Huh?
------Only 17% of women are likely to have an orgasm during sex. Sad but true.... They are more like to orgasm if they "do it themselves" or have a sex toy.... So attention all sex partners: Don't have a hissyfit if your girlfriend wants to bring a toy into the bedroom. It will make her happy, which should end up making you happy.
---The left testicle usually hangs lower than the right for right-handed men. The opposite is true for lefties. Does anyone wanna confirm this fact???
---According to a survey of sex shop owners, cherry is the most popular flavor of edible underwear. Really? I prefer.... just kidding. No but really, some people I know HATE cherry. It reminds them of medicine. Medicine and vagina usually doesn't lead you to assume there's a "party" going on in her pants, if you know what I mean...

An Evening In Strong. Sex Included.
**WARNING: THIS POST IS LONGER THAN 300 WORDS.**
Ciao ciao ciao ciao a tutti!
So the writers' strike is over (well, for now, and hopefully they'll all be treated better) and ABC episodes are back (yay for Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty and House, which is actually FOX, but whatever)! Basically this period of brand new episodes is like a week long orgasm....(ok, so maybe that was going overboard a tidbit) But REALLY! On Thursday, we were packed into the Strong MPR with hormonal young men and women, and all you could here was screaming and gasping and happy giggles and....etc.
Oh yeeeeeeeeeeeees!
Ahhhhhh!
Nooooooo!
Wait!
Oh ok!
Yessss!
Auuuugh!
Ooooooooooo!
Teeheehee!
Mmmmmm!
No! Don't stop!
That's it????
Man, was it steamy in the Strong MPR with Doctor McDreamy and McSteamy and well... all the sexy Grey's characters. and don't forget those in Ugly Betty!
Basically the day of Thur ended with a giant orgy in Strong. Man can those girls show you a good time or what? ;-)
Well, I don't think this article had enough sexual references so here is the cherry on top of that big banana split....
FUN(NY)SEX(Y)FACTS:
---Sex is an instant cure for mild depression. It releases endorphins into the bloodstream, producing a sense of euphoria and leaving you with a feeling of well-being. Maybe THAT'S why you feel so good afterwards....unless, it, well, is just plain bad.
---A lot of lovemaking can unblock a stuffy nose. Sex is a natural antihistamine. It can help combat asthma and hay fever. Wow, even more reasons to get cozy in the winter...
---The earliest known illustration of a man using a condom during sexual intercourse is painted on the wall of a cave in France. It is dated between 12,000 and 15,000 years old. See! Just because you're old doesn't mean you don't have any sense!
Go have a fun Founder's Day Weekend kiddies!
And forgive those who took the dorm room you (and possibly your roommate) wanted....

Ouch Charlie!
**WARNING: THIS POST IS LONGER THAN 400 WORDS.**
Ciao Ciao Ciao OOOOOOOOWWWWW!
So, I hope you all are in better shape than I am because I think I just sprained my toe (I don't think it's broken...I hope) and it f*@#$%^ hurts! I am forced to limp and you all know how attractive THAT is....haha...(because, you know, I REALLY care what people think of me...---ok, I'm assuming you didn't get the sarcasm there, but it was what I was heading for..). So I'm not really sure how this happened because cuz you know, shit just happens....to me, but it all went down in ACDC. I saw someone who I don't really know very well (though I do like him as a person, for I have no reason to dislike him...he's nice). He said "Hi *insert name here*!" with a big smile and I said hi back in the same manner. Then I realized something. I absolutely LOVE it when people say "hi" to me. It's so simple (and sadly people take it for granted) but it really does make my (and I'm sure, your) day! Anyway, I got so excited that I went over to my dinner-buddy and friend, Aletheia, and told her how happy it always makes me. And being the dork I am, I was dancing around a little (in ACDC, mind you) and then put my foot down on the floor with a lot more force than anticipated and my toes just crunched. This is the point where I yell "OUUUUUUCH CHARLIE!" I limped my food over to the register, than to a table where my toes continued to throb. Once I got up again and my foot and all its ligaments stretched, I realized how badly it hurt. I limped back to RayRay. (oh ya, the stairs were a sexy fun time, let me tell ya!) Now my toes are wrapped in a cold towel which I need to re-soak. dang....
And now......drum roll please....
FUN(NY)SEX(Y)FACTS: (ya, baby, ya!)
---The first published use of the word 'condum' was in a 1706 poem. (I wonder who invented the word....)
---It has also been suggested that Condom was a doctor in the time of Charles II. It is believed that he invented the device to help the king to prevent the birth of more illegitimate children. (oh...i guess that answers my previous question...haha)
---There are approximately 100 million acts of sexual intercourse each day. (ONLY?! Come on guys and girls! Try HARDER)
Pace ed amore,
Chipmunk
P.S.- Hope you had a fun 4/20!
P.P.S.- why are the bees stalking the dorm windows????

Wear Sunscreen
**WARNING: THIS POST IS LONGER THAN 500 WORDS.**
Ciao ciao ciao a tutti!
I hope you all are enjoying the wonderful weather! I think it is actually hotter here than it is at my home in California, and that's saying a LOT because I basically live on a beach.... and the weather is basically like this 99% of the time.
With all this weather and the thoughts of summer nearing, as I was basking in the sun with close friends, I started thinking about my past. Life has not been easy for me, and in many ways I am thankful for that because if things were handed to me on a silver platter I would be very bored (and probably getting into trouble like Miss Hilton just to make my life...I don't know, fun?).
I started thinking about the 90s and how great music was born into that decade and the music from the 80s, 70s, 60s, 50s, etc still played on my radio. On beautiful days like this in the summer of '99, I rocked gently back and forth in my hammock, which was incredibly old and brought from Mexico when my dad crossed the border, that was hung up on one end by part of my house and on the other by my huge Mexican Lime tree. Rocking, rocking, rocking as I fell the warm sun and the cool breeze kiss my face, I listened to music, music on my radio.
I have yet to find a radio station that plays music as great as this one. It played a wide variety of music from oldies to the now. I LOVED IT. One "song" that I particularly enjoyed was Baz Luhrmann's "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" because every single time I heard it, I would cry (and still do). Call me emotional, but every song has a meaning and when it sparks some emotion, I am not afraid to hide it. Music is a gateway to the soul. This song always reminds me of some of the things that are truly important in my life, things that I admit I tend to ignore and forget about from time to time. This offers beautiful tips and leads me to intense realities. "Get to know your parents, you never know when they'll be gone for good."
Oh my god, we as young adults, teenagers, kids, babies sometimes to not understand this harsh truth that our parents and friends are only with us for a limited time. And we our not taking enough advantage of the time we have on this Earth, with these people we LOVE. We spend too much time being angry and taking it out on people, our loved ones, who sometimes don't even deserve it. I rarely yell at my parents anymore because I can't bare to think of the possibility that the last time I talk to them would be in anger. I do not say "I love you" enough to my parents. Many of us have this flaw. Now I ask of you, my readers, my friends, my loved ones, go take this advise that is offered in this song. And if you only do one of those things, let it be that you call your parents, guardians, family, and friends....and tell them you love them.

We're Bringin' SEX(y) Back
Don't make fun of me for my corny title....
Ciao ciao ciao ciao ciao a tutti!
Like I promised, here are your sex(y) facts! Yes, I’ve been lagging the past few weeks on these facts but I hope you will forgive me after today’s dose of sex(y)!
---Males, on average, think about sex every 7 seconds. That is not surprising. But what about women???
---85% of men who die of heart attacks during intercourse, are found to have been cheating on their wives. That's way too sad!
---The first couple to be shown in bed together on prime time television were: Fred and Wilma Flintstone. I love the Flintstones!
---During World War II, condoms were used to cover rifle barrels from being damaged by salt water as the soldiers swam to shore. Hahaha… well, I guess that could explain the Baby Boom! They were using their condoms on their guns as opposed to their…swords (???).
I’m the Queen of Bad Jokes….haha.
P.S.- as a member of CHOICE, I must tell you about the workshop TONIGHT (Thursday) at 7 PM in the Faculty Parlor!
“Pelvic Proficiency: Pelvic Power”
Sheri Winston returns to Vassar to teach how to strengthen pelvic muscles, focusing specifically on the pelvic floor, to enhance sexual pleasure. She will then lead participants in several pelvic exercises that integrate breath, visualization, and energy movement. This is a clothes-on, hands-off workshop.

My College is Gayer Than Yours!
Ciao ciao ciao a tutti!I hope you saw the wonderful display outside the bookstore!!! The lovely members of ACT OUT were there with lots of pieces of chalk and lots of smiles! Why? They were asking people to sign their names on the sidewalk in support of marriage equality.
Did you know that in New York State, there are 1,324 rights and responsibilities that come with marriage? (Jeepers, that’s a lot!) That is the number of rights and duties that same-sex couples are denied by being barred from marrying in NY.
The Pride Agenda and NYC Bar Association released a report that for the first time details every right and responsibility that comes with marriage in NY, putting into stark perspective the significance of the inequality that same-sex couples and their families must endure everyday.
When combined with the estimated 1,138 federal rights granted through marriage, gay couples (and their children) are without a total of 2,462 rights and protections that are established to provide security and stability for families.
The report addresses the significant shortcomings of separate-and-unequal institutions such as civil unions and shows how attempts to create a parallel institution that isn’t full marriage equality are failing.
“Marriage equality is the only way to overcome the 1000+ ways in which hundreds of thousands of NYers are treated as second class citizens.” -Anonymous
ACT OUT chalked a condensed list of these rights outside the CC. They said you could sign a petition, form letters, or even film a video statement in support of marriage equality. I hope you were able to stop by and support in any way!

P.S.- I've come to the conclusion that Fritos smell like mouse peepee, especially at the moment when you open the bag. This is probably why Fritos are so yellow and salty. I don't ever eat chips and for some reason I picked up this bag of Fritos (which I never ever liked in the first place)..... EWW!

Questions to Get Your Mind Churning!
Ciao ciao ciao ciao ciao ciao a tutti! Come stai? Hello everyone! How are you? So unfortunately I have not a story for you but I thought I would pose some questions to get you thinking about STUFF! and yes, at the end, we'll have some sexy time.
1. Why is it called Alcoholics Anonymous when the first thing you do is stand up and say, 'My name is Bob, and I am an alcoholic'?
2. Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, 'I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here and drink whatever comes out'?
3. Why do people point to their wrist when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?
4. If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?
5. If corn oil is made from corn, and vegetable oil is made from vegetables, then what is baby oil made from?
6. Do illiterate people get the full effect of Alphabet Soup?
7. Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?
8. You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of it?
9. Why do they put Braille dots on the keypad of a drive-up ATM?
10. Is the main reason Santa is so jolly is because he knows where all the bad girls live?
FUN(NY) FACTS:
---An adulterous Greek male was sometimes punished by the removal of his pubic hair and the insertion of a large radish into his rectum. OUCH!!!!!!
---Sex burns 360 calories per hour. Well, OK, really it depends on your weight, but still...
---Women who read romance novels have sex twice as often as those who don't. Start readin', ladies. And come to TwatChat. We have a romance novel library/collection now!
---The average amount of time spent kissing for a person in a lifetime is 20,160 minutes. SWEET!
I hope you allllll have a wonderful spring break! I know I will! Be safe! Have fun!
Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today! (Ya, James Dean was a fox!)

Let's Play Leap Frog on Leap Day!
Ciao tutti on this beautiful 28th day of February!
Happy Birthday to everyone who was born on this day years ago!
Tomorrow is Leap Day! Yay! It only comes one every four years so enjoy it! This topic made me curious: What do you do if you were born on Leap Day??? Do you only celebrate your birthday every four years or do you celebrate it on March 1st on 3 of the 4 years? I know you've asked yourself this question. Don't lie!
So here is some info on Leap Day cuz I know you all are dying to know:
Most have to wait every four years to "officially" observe their birthdays, but leap year babies typically choose either February 28 or March 1 to celebrate in years that aren't leap years. According to astrologers, those born under the sign of Pisces on February 29 have unusual talents and personalities reflecting their special status.
How Leap Year came to Be
2008 is a leap year, with 366 days instead of the usual 365 days. Why?
It was the ancient Egyptians who first figured out that the solar year and the man-made calendar year didn't always match up.
That's because it actually takes the Earth a little longer than a year to travel around the Sun — 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 46 seconds, to be exact.
Therefore, as the hours accumulated over the centuries, an extra day was occasionally added to the calendar, and over time the practice became more or less official.
It was the Romans who first designated February 29 as leap day. Later, a more precise formula (still in use today) was adopted in the 16th century when the Gregorian calendar fine-tuned the calculations to include a leap day in years only divisible by four, i.e., 2008, 2012.
Another stipulation ruled that no year divisible by 100 would have a leap year, except if it was divisible by 400. Thus, 1900 was not a leap year ... but 2000 was! Go figure.
Thankfully, all this intricate plotting will continue to keep us in tune with the seasons over the next several thousand years.
Leap Day Traditions - No Man is Safe
While leap day helped official timekeepers, it also resulted in social customs turned upside down when February 29 became a "no man's land" without legal jurisdiction.
As the story goes, the tradition of women romantically pursuing men in leap years began in 5th century Ireland, when St. Bridget complained to St. Patrick about the fair sex having to wait for me to propose. Patrick finally relented and set February 29 aside as the day set aside allowing women the right to ask for a man's hand in marriage.
The tradition continued in Scotland, when Queen Margaret declared in 1288 that on February 29 a woman had the right to pop the question to any man she fancied. Menfolk who refused were faced with a fine in the form of a kiss, a silk dress, or a pair of gloves given to the rejected lady fair.
A similar modern American tradition, Sadie Hawkins Day, honors "the homeliest gal in the hills" created by Al Capp in the cartoon strip Li'l Abner. In the famous story line, Sadie and every other woman in town were allowed on that day to pursue and catch the most eligible bachelors in Dogpatch. Although the comic strip placed Sadie Hawkins Day in November, today it has become almost synonymous with February 29. Remember the high school Sadie Hawkins Dance???
FUN(NY) FACTS: Yes, bring on the sex(y)
---"Ithyphallophobia" is a morbid fear of seeing, thinking about or having an erect penis. That's sad...
---The word "gymnasium" comes from the Greek word "gymnazein" which means "to exercise naked."
---Topless saleswomen are legal in Liverpool, England - but only in tropical fish stores. (But of course!)
---There are men in Guam whose job is to travel the countryside and deflower young virgins, who pay them for the privilege of having sex for the 1st time. Are you kidding me????

Total Lunar Eclipse of February 20, 2008

Buon giorno tutti!Well, last night was fun! I spent my late evening watching the lunar eclipse, which was absolutely spectacular (at least for me, and every other Vassar student I saw on campus outside their dorms staring at the sky). The "partial eclipse" began at 8:43 PM and yes, I DID start watching the moon very closely at this time. Once it got nearer and nearer to 10:01 PM (when the "total eclipse" began), I ran outside RayRay to watch the beauty that is nature. At some point the moon reminded me of the side view of an eyeball with the very last bit of light representing the pupil. Yes, weird way of looking at it, but hey, let me be creative. Outside, I was soon joined by many other Vassar students as we watched the moon turn into a lovely shade of orange/dusty copper/rust. "Mid-eclipse" was at 10:26 PM. Half the moon was more visible than the other. At 10:51 PM, the "total eclipse" ended and then at 12:09 PM, the "partial eclipse" ended. During this entire process, there gathered many people on the stoop of RayRay, talking, laughing, play guitars, and singing some nice songs. In fact at some point (10:32 PM), the musician started playing "Anyone Else But You" by the Moldy Peaches (LOVE THEM!) and I heard them from my window. I then screamed/gasped, scaring the bejeezers out of my roommate and ran to the window and listened happily. Then, the wonderful person outside started playing the Beatles "Hey Jude" (another favorite). It was a very pleasant and enjoyable evening. This experience reminded me why I love Raymond House, Vassar, and its community so much.
....And it really made me want to go camping, which I will be doing over Spring Break in 2 weeks! (Oh jeepers! I'm so excited)
So this was the last total lunar eclipse until 2010! I thoroughly hope you enjoyed your pretty little selves!
Okie dokie artichokie! It's time!
FUN(NY)FACTS:
---A man's beard grows fastest when he anticipates sex.
---Male bats have the highest rate of homosexuality of any mammal. yay!
---The average shelf-life of a latex condom is about two years. (P.S.- LifeStyles and Durex have the lowest breakage rate! Way lower than Trojans! Use LifeStyles or Durex!)
---"Formicophilia" is the fetish for having small insects crawl on your genitals. Oh my...
So I hope you're able to sleep soundly after that last one.
Have a great day! It's Thursday, which is basically the weekend, in a few hours.
Enjoy life and SMILE!

Anyone Else But You.
Hi! Hola! Ciao! Bonjour! Hallo! Γειάσου! こんにちは! 여보세요! Здравствулте! 你好!
Ok...so I don't really know how to say "Hi" in ALL those languages but who cares? Give me a break, you Kit Kat!
This is Chipmunk from RayRay saying "Hello" in more languages than is even needed.
So, I'm lazy (not really) and will not be writing a lovely little haiku (at least not today).... BUT (yes folks, there's a but) I will leave you with some fun little facts..... and yes, they're all related to sex because.... this is college and I'm a member of CHOICE....
---Male and female rats may have sex twenty times a day. Horny Bastards
---For every 'normal' webpage, there are five porn pages. Wow.
---Sex is biochemically no different from eating large quantities of chocolate. yum....
P.S.- I hope you enjoyed these little facts.
P.P.S.- I got this info off the net. I do not own this info. Do not sue me if you somehow realize that eating large quantities of chocolate is nowhere near as enjoyable as sex....
