So finally the e-mail I've been waiting for arrived this afternoon.
Greetings,
Congratulations on your new House Team position and we are very excited to be working with you next year! Although Fall 2008 is a couple of months away we would like to bring everyone together to introduce ourselves and to provide points to think about during your summer break.
In order to do so, we will be hosting our Annual New Student Leader Kick Off on Monday, April 14, 2008 from 4-5pm at Rocky Hall 200. The session will be a great opportunity to meet the members of your House Team and to receive a brief introduction to Fall Training. Please note that you are required to attend this event and if you have an academic conflict please contact me as soon as possible.
In addition, here are other important dates for you to remember. If you have conflicts with these times, please contact me as soon as possible:
Thursday, May 1st – Room Draw 5:30-10:00 pm (More information to follow)
Thursday, August 21st – Move in before training for SFs and HFIs
Friday, August 22nd – First day of Student Leader Training
I am super excited about meeting and finding out whom I will be working with on the house team next year! See you soon guys!

is this really a necessary post? i mean, you can say that you received your details about the start of HT training, but why include the entire email?

Thanks for your constructive criticism (I really mean it...not in a sarcastic way). I was just real excited about this whole thing, and went ahead and included everything. Next time, i will extract and present only the important bits!

Yea.... I'm really happy that I got the Student Fellow position but I think its pretty low to go about posting the entire email that we got sent...
