My friend from Fordham visited me this weekend and at first I was nervous about how she was going to deal with Vassar as opposed to a strict Jesuit school. Needless to say, there was quite a bit of culture shock. We went to the No Offense sketch comedy show and she could not believe some of the jokes and the amount of openness students were allowed to perform. I then showed her a typical Vassar Friday night and needless to say, she definitely wanted to stay for one more night. So she did. Although she passed out on my friend's bed at 1:30, I know she made as big of a mark on my friends as the campus did on her. They absolutely loved her and want her to come back almost as much as I do.
This weekend showed the truth behind the saying "Make new friends but keep the old." Hearing about what my friends did the next day as I drove her to the train station made her want to stay even longer. She picked up on the abbrevs (I'm gonna drink some Bs to get D and go to the M then catch some Zs) and appreciates a good hives story.

vivalaSTUPID why do you blog you are a conservative poo.
actually i heart you a lot and so does r the g.
ps guess who
Maybe the people she hangs out with at Fordham don't really party on a friday night, but strict Jesuit school? I'm really glad your friend had a great time :) but fordham is not one of those christian schools in the south that has a curfew and rules about male visitors and so on. I'd say it's pretty average on the party scale : ?

Do freshmen really talk like this? If so I weep for the future.
