The tone of last semester was very different than the tone of this one. There was this atmosphere of stress and worry, and general anxiety about the future. But I feel so much more comfortable at Vassar than I did 4 months ago. The strange thing is, I think it had more to do with me than it did with the people or things around me. I've been doing some thinking......and..... I'm finally happy here.
Now to do laundry and work! Good luck on midterms,

generally, spring semester is better than fall semester. i think part of it has to do with the fact that it's getting warmer instead of colder, the sun is setting later instead of earlier, days are getting longer instead of shorter, and we're much closer to summer.
this post made me smile. i've also just recently realized how happy and comfortable i am this semester. life is good.
