Is it wrong that everytime I look at the Facebook pics of someone who I have a crush on my heart gradually begins to melt until eventually it's just a puddle of red at my feet?
That with every successive click, seeing the facial expressions of said person in the various events of life, it causes me to become a hormonal mess?
That the collective album of pics can drive me into a primal, sex-hungry rampage?
No. It is not wrong.
But it is unsatisfying that I can't satisfy the hunger.

I think this is normal for everyone. Trying to pretend you're not attracted to other people when you're in a relationship is naive and stupid.
Sure, some might think that it's equivalent (or might even lead) to cheating on one's bf/gf, but when one thinks it through, they should come to realize that the potential "cheater" is in the relationship with them in the first place... If they didn't want to be, they'd be gone already.
It's surprising to me that people don't think that their bf/gf would be attracted to other people. As human beings, our passion for our favorite band doesn't turn us off to other bands altogether; attraction to other members of the given sex works the same way.

ha I love your words. Unfortunately, or ironically, or maybe even luckily, sometimes the crazy crush that has time to live because of un-consummation is more fun than the actual relationship.
Unless you have a one (or two, or three...)-time thing, like BAM...
